Experience:

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Diploma: Industrial Engineering
- Project management (advantageous)
Job objectives:
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of MPTs implementation projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Adhere SLA’s requirements and specifications to understand business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to project and timing plan in line with product development timing programs
Elimination of Waste
- Implement and manage manufacturing improvements in line with delegated projects.
- Driving the business manufacturing excellence strategy by deploying lean principles in line with agreed projects.
- Identify, evaluate & implement improvement idea that result in tangible improvements in productivity, elimination of waste and deliver the objectives set out in the 4 pillar strategy
- Effective management and deployment of resource in line with delegated areas and projects
- Review PQs Monthly
Continuous improvement
- Manage A3 problem solving activity to eliminate waste & improve production within areas of control
- Manage ME data
- Manage continuous improvement projects
5s and Safety/Environment
- Comply with SHEMS procedures & requirements.
- Manage and improve 5s in the plant according to the 5s Audit sheet
- Manage and improve safety within the working area and meet safety targets for that area
- Quality
- Implement & uphold quality standards to reduce defects within the plant, as per targets defined by the quality control board
- Quality Management: Engage with internal/external customers and respond to concerns/requests raised by the customer.
- Part Quality: Responsible for delegated elements of APQP process.
- People Management
- Guide, Engage and motivate the TIE team
- Communicate effectively amongst TIE team
- Work with a clear vision and direction amongst your TIE team
- Support to all training requirement to ensure the team meet the expectations
