Main purpose of the role is Inventory Management and Planning as well as ensuring stock and raw materials are expediated according to procedures timeously. Supervision and time management of warehouse staff.

Job Specification

Technical skills and specialist knowledge:

  • 6 years stores exp in a manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Syspro
  • Forklift license (adv)
  • Supervisory Exp.

Experience:

  • 6 years stores exp in a manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Forklift license (adv)

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Critical)
  • Forklift license (adv)

Job objectives:

  • Expediting
  1. Expedite material (outstanding orders)
  2. Expedite outside stock
  3. Expediate Logistics
  4. Expediating requisitions (call offs)
  • Control of Inventory
  1. Capturing of all receipts
  2. Ensure quality of receipts are completed (Passing)
  3. Ensure al requisitions are completed with Bill of lading / Expense issue
  4. Ensure stock audits are completed
  5. Planning of Stores & incoming stock
  6. Ensure Minimum and maximum level are in order
  7. Ensure all stock reports are updated and sent out to relevant persons daily
  8. Ensure stocks below 3 days are escalated daily
  9. Ensure ME Boards are filled in and maintained daily.
  10. Ensure All 5 goldens rules are adhered all times
  • Time management
  1. Ensure staff clocks in and out timeously
  2. Ensure daily attendance timesheet is verified daily
  • Purchasing
  1. Ensure Purchase orders or Consumables are created for ( CBC, CAW Coat, Electroplating, Coating Technologies )
  2. Created Purchase order must be email to supplier
  3. Ensure all pricing is correct on purchase order
  4. Three quotation must be given in for new Items for purchasing
  • Documentation
  1. Ensures all Documents are GRN’d timeously via Syspro
  2. Ensure all Documents are Doc Boxed timeously
  3. Bill of lading must be done timeously and sent with raw material/Consumables
  4. Import documentation and goods captured and tracked
  5. All Freight Document captured
  • Ramsay app
  1. Ensure All the PPC and PPE requisitions followed
  • Accounts Queries
  1. Ensure all accounts queries are verified and resubmitted to accounts via team
  • SHEMS
  1. Ensure audits/scars are completed timeously
  2. Control of 5’s board
  • Stock takes
  1. Ensure all raw materials are captured, passed, and located before stock take
  2. Ensure all stock take tickets are written out for all stock codes
  3. Ensure stock take input sheet for capturing is completed and submitted
  4. Control of M E board
  5. Ensuring the cycle counts are being conducted on schedule routines or Candance
