Business Analyst – Operational Integration and Data Alignment
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on integrating operational information to enhance decision-making across the business. You will be a key player in ensuring that all departments are aligned, using consistent naming conventions, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring smooth information flow across systems.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- Education:
- Senior Certificate (Matric)
- National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a similar technical qualification
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in managing manufacturing outputs within a lean manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate level).
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Utilise data modelling techniques to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify system gaps and implement robust improvement measures.
- Oversee the implementation of new technology and ensure systems alignment.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions.
- Establish dashboards for data analysis, enabling continuous improvement solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
- Develop and document process flows for operational processes.
- Create documentation outlining proposed changes and implementation steps.
- Review internal and customer performance trends, providing management with detailed reports.
