Main purpose:
Ensure materials requested by production are picked and fed to the allocated areas to support effectiveness. Report/Escalate any shortages of stock items in area of responsibility in time.
Job Objectives:
- Quality
- Parts are pack according to customer packaging standards.
- Manufacturing/Receiving
- Pack parts as per the packing instruction and perform work according to the set standards.
- Raise problems and concerns to the supervisor timeously.
- Maintain reasonable picking rate to ensure requisition deadlines are met.
- Support with any receiving stores requirements/activities.

Requirements:
Experience:
- Experience in the manufacturing environment is advantageous
- At least 6 months experience in a similar field.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No 55 of 1998 and any amendments thereto, Ramsay Engineering Internal Recruitment Policy as well as the Employment Equity Plan.
