Main purpose:
Produce units to the defined output rate. Accurately record all data on the data capture sheet timeously.
Job Objectives:
- Material Supply & Line Support
- Ensure timely delivery and replenishment of parts, consumables, and packaging to the production line.
- Prevent material shortages that could cause line stoppages
- Contribute to team productivity
- Team Communication
- Communicate delays, shortages, or issues with parts in real time
- Work closely with the team
- Continuous Improvement
- Support kaizen initiatives as required
- Suggest improvements in process
- 5S
- Maintain clean and organized workstation
- Follow 5S standards
- Safety, Health and Safety
- Follow safety standards and procedures to lost work case and minor injuries
- Quality
- Pack parts as per the packing instruction and perform work according to the set standards.
- Raise problems and concerns to the Shift Leader timeously.
- Ensure parts produced meet quality specifications and follow up on non-conforming product procedures.
- Work cycle must be completed before leaving work.
- Identify and report defects
- Follow standard packaging procedures
- Attendance
- Maintain 98% attendance
- Arrive on time for all shifts
- Be available and willing to work overtime

Required Qualifications and Experience
Experience:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
